Violence Against Women & Girls. That’s Enough 🟥

Government initiative and campaign Enough briefed us, as they wanted to expand their message in a social impact campaign that encourages teenage boys to consider their actions when perpetrating violence against girls during the “Andrew Tate” era.

We laid claim to a fairly underused emoji that doesn’t have a lot of semiotics attached to it other than for bad behaviour and was recognisable to both boys and girls. We looked at football, a popular hobby amongst teenage boys and the clear signal that a red card symbolises when it comes to an unacceptable behaviour.

From there we conceptualised a three episode snapchat series that would address the different angles of misogynistic behaviour amongst teenagers aged 13-18 years old, finding this to be the best social format for this age group to view short form serialised content.

Red is also the colour used by ENOUGH in comms when touching on the topic of Violence Against Women and Girls.
